Responsibilities
- Sand seams and joints after applying successive coats of compound.
- Plaster coats should be applied, leveled, and smoothed.
- Surfaces should be cleaned and prepared.
- Cure newly plastered areas

- Using a trowel and a broad knife, fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound.
- If necessary, finish corners and angles and create decorative designs in the finish coat.
- Allow the coat to dry after smoothing out any excess compound.
- Working from a height, on scaffolding, or on swing stages
- Set up scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms.
