Responsibilities
- Recruit, manage, and assign work to employees.
- Maintaining the grounds under your direction.
- Planting of trees, gardens, and grass should be supervised and organized.
- Prepare an inventory and cost estimate of the labor and materials.
- Construction of walls, decks, and fences should be planned, organized, and directed.
- Plan, direct, and oversee the building of landscaping features.
- Keep detailed journals and records of your efforts.
- Put forth bids and oversee existing contracts.
- Put in place routines and timetables for the work.
- Repair and maintain equipment
- Put in a request for, or place an order for, the necessary supplies, equipment, and materials.
- Find solutions to challenges at work.
- Supervise nursery and greenhouse workers
